Growing up half Italian, I was lucky enough to get to experience the joys of different cultures from an early age.

I loved getting to know new worlds outside of my home in the U.S. and the sense of adventure and newness that came with traveling to europe each summer.

The nuances of language (and the feeling of accomplishment when you can actually respond), the pride that’s palpable when locals explain how a typical regional dish is prepared, and tasting exquisite foods that are unique to a particular part of the world – these are things you only get to experience when you leave your comfort zone.

I met my fiancé in Italy in 2013 where we both lived at the time and soon realized our shared passion for food and travel. After four years of long distance, I decided to relocate to Nice, France to build our life together. Travel my blog for a glimpse of the Côte d’Azur through my eyes.

These are my adventures in culture and coupledom on the French Riviera.
